OUR HISTORY

In early 2001 Pastor Mark Hardy was asked to consider starting a local church in the area. He met with some men for several months to discuss the need for a new church and to specify the church’s doctrine, biblical ministry philosophy, distinctives, and goals.

As a result of these meetings, an Informational Meeting was held on July 10, 2001 at Templin’s Resort in Post Falls for those interested in starting a new church called “Fellowship Bible Church.” There were 30 people in attendance, and as they spent the next week in prayer, it was unanimous that they believed the Lord wanted this new church to begin.

Fellowship Bible Church held its first official Sunday School and Worship Service on September 23, 2001 in the Post Falls Cinemas (formerly River City Cinemas). The church met at this location for the first 1 ¾ years, and on in June 2003 moved to the Old Bible Book Nook in Coeur d’Alene.

A year later, the Lord provided the opportunity to purchase a building that housed a swimming pool. After a church-wide swim party, the pool was emptied, filled in, and the building was remodeled into a wonderful place to worship the Lord and carry out His ministry. The church held its first service in this new facility on June 13, 2004.

We give the Lord Jesus all the glory for what He has done in and through this church family since its conception, and look forward with anticipation to what he has in store in the future for Fellowship Bible Church.
